Learners in Phase 1 build upon the Stimulation Phase
- Daily living – they are expecting to start taking care of own belongings
- Language development – planned vocabulary expansion take place
- Sensory and perceptual stimulation – differentiation takes place, more formal perception e.g. colours, shapes
- Gross Motor Skills – balancing, running, jumping, music, dance
- Creative activities – advanced activities like cutting, drawing, painting to develop fine motor muscles
